Summer Medical Camp

The Foster School of Medicine hosts Summer Medical Camps for current and rising high school students. Two camps are offered each summer, each two weeks long and able to accommodate up to 30 students, taking place on the Texas Tech Health El Paso campus.

The curriculum includes interactive presentations with health care professionals, field trips, a mock crime scene investigation, financial aid information, and a reality store exercise simulating life expenses. Participants experience engaging field trips, guest speakers from different medical professions, and college-preparation workshops. Snacks and learning materials are provided at no cost. Students are informed of the camp through visits with advisors at high school campuses in the El Paso region.

Eligibility Criteria
