Summer Med Camp Mentor
The Office of Admissions at the Foster School of Medicine looks for summer volunteers to mentor high school students at the Summer Medical Camp. As a mentor, you attend for the full duration of each camp session, presenting, guiding, and mentoring participants — including preparing workshop materials and aiding other presenters.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferably on a health care career track
- Available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on camp days

To complete your application, email a 500-word essay to outreach-elpaso@ttep.edu addressing:
- Why would you be a benefit to the program?
- What will you gain from it?
Mentors may apply for one or both camp sessions. The 2026 Summer Medical Camp ran as two sessions, June 8–18 and June 22–July 2; dates for the next camp will be announced closer to the following summer.
