Students enrolled in the Biomedical Sciences post-baccalaureate program are not eligible for financial aid through this program.

Federal Student Loans

Eligible graduate students may qualify for a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan. The annual limit is generally $20,500, although the amount offered may be lower based on federal requirements, prior borrowing and the student’s financial aid eligibility. Some eligible students may also apply for a Direct PLUS Loan for graduate or professional students.

Financial Aid Disbursement Dates: 2026–2027

Disbursement is the date financial aid is scheduled to begin applying to eligible student accounts. It is not necessarily the date a student will receive a refund.

Before Aid Can Be Disbursed

• Complete all financial aid requirements and resolve account holds.
• Meet satisfactory academic progress requirements.
• Be enrolled at least half-time to receive federal student loans.
• Review your enrollment carefully. A reduction in enrolled hours may change your aid and may create a balance due.

First-time federal Direct Loan borrowers must complete entrance counseling and a Master Promissory Note. Complete only the requirements shown in your financial aid record.
