2025 Residency Match Results
The Texas Tech Health El Paso, Foster School of Medicine, Class of 2025, has had a successful match process through the National Residency Match Program (NRMP), the San Francisco (SF) Match, and the Urology Match. Specifically, the NRMP oversees a computerized process that links choices of graduating medical students with preferences of residency program directors. Results were announced on Match Day, March 21, 2025.
104 members of the Foster School of Medicine Class of 2025, and two students from the Class of 2024, were successful in the residency match. This year’s residency match outcomes for the Foster School of Medicine are outstanding. Year after year, Foster School of Medicine students are selected into highly competitive specialties and great programs nationwide.
While the national impact is impressive, we are especially pleased that over 55% of our graduates are matched in Texas, 51% of the students will enter primary care specialties, and 18 will continue their medical training in El Paso. We couldn’t be prouder of this graduating class, and wish them continued success and happiness. We honor each of our graduates today!
