Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Texas Tech Health El Paso offers a one-year, full-time (40 hours per week) psychology post-doctoral fellowship position. As an academic health institution, services are provided to a diverse population across a wide range of concerns affecting children, adolescents, and adults. The fellow will primarily provide adult outpatient mental health services to a diverse population.
Based on availability and interest, the fellow may engage in supervision of psychiatry residents, provide telehealth services to children and adolescents, and participate in department trainings and didactics, outreach, consultation, and research throughout the fellowship year. Opportunities are available to provide clinical services in Spanish and to receive supervision in Spanish.
The fellow will have multiple opportunities for professional development, including multidisciplinary didactics, grand rounds, and other seminars, webinars, and workshops hosted on the academic medical center campus.
Admissions Requirements
Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from a university-based program (PhD or PsyD) accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), and completed a one-year pre-doctoral internship that is APA-accredited or its substantial equivalent.
