The Texas Tech El Paso Police Department (TTEPPD) prime functions are to protect life,
liberty, and property; to enforce all laws and Regents’ Rules; to preserve the peace
and public order; to prevent and repress crime; to detect violations of the law; to
apprehend violators; and, to prosecute those apprehended.
Texas Tech Health El Paso campus maintains 24 hour security on campus. There are also
Emergency Blue Phones located around campus. Students are encouraged to familiarize
themselves with these phone locations and to request safety escorts to parking areas
at night.

- West side of the Clinical Sciences Building near the West Patient Lot.
- East Patient Lot near the Academic and Education Center / Clinical Sciences Building area.
- Raynolds Bridge Lot area, west of the Robert Brown Avenue MS3/MS4 Lot.
- Near Medical Science Building 1, south-central campus.
- Near the Medical Education Building / School of Nursing area.
- Medical Education Building parking lot, east side of campus.
- Oral Health Clinic rear east lot area.
- Raynolds Patient Lot area, north-central campus.
