- Texas Tech Health El Paso After residency, Dr. Parsa practiced emergency medicine on California's central coast for several years before relocating to El Paso to join our department as clerkship director.
Dr. Parsa served in Papua New Guinea for three years with PIONEERS International at Rumginae Hospital. In this picture, he is treating a patient suffering from envenomation by a death adder, one of the world's deadliest snakes. He also serves on the Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Assistance Response Team, providing medical care in countries including Bangladesh, Iraq, Ukraine, Ecuador and Haiti. Dr. Parsa loves working with our medical students and takes pride in offering a challenging, rewarding clerkship.
