Distinction in Research and Scholarship (DIRS)

The Distinction in Research and Scholarship (DIRS) honors Foster School of Medicine students who demonstrate outstanding commitment to research and scholarly activity throughout medical school.

Students who successfully complete the requirements of the Scholarly Activity and Research Program (SARP) and produce scholarly work that reflects sustained effort, academic excellence, and professionalism may be eligible to receive this distinction.
