Non-Employee Incidents and Injuries

Texas Tech Health El Paso is committed to supporting a safe environment for patients, visitors, students, and other non-employee customers.

If a non-employee is injured or involved in an incident on campus or at an approved Texas Tech Health El Paso activity site, the incident should be reported promptly so the appropriate department can review and respond.

What to Do First

  1. Seek medical attention immediately, if needed.
  2. For emergencies, call 911.
  3. Report the incident location and details to the appropriate Texas Tech Health El Paso department or staff member at the site.
  4. Follow institutional reporting procedures for non-employee incidents and injuries.
